Review of Superman: Doomsday (2007) by Christopher C — 16 Apr 2012
It's not the films fault that it's not that great. It's the producers for trying to put A LOT of material into a 75 min. film. This could easily be 2-3 films (one per story "Death" "Funeral" "Return") but they cram it all into one.
The voice actors do a very good job and I like adam baldwin as superman, james marsters does a very creepy and weird Lex, I blame the writers more than Marsters. Overall this a very enjoyable film if you have never read the stories, it condenses it enough to make sense and fills in the gaps.
But since this is one of the Superman stories I am a HUGE fan of, I feel a little cheated. If you haven't read them, I suggest read them, if you don't have time, this movie will suffice.
