Review of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies (2009) by Alex S — 18 Jun 2010

Lex Luthor becomes the president and fits up Superman of all people for murder. There then follows what could be described as Superman and Batman vs pretty much everybody as half of the Justice league rogues gallery comes looking for the billion dollar bounty on Superman's head. Thanks to his role as president Lex Luthor manages to also get half of the world's heroes are also trying to arrest the man of steel.

A little short to be considered a full on movie but plenty long enough to get the story out and to make a decent animated direct to dvd feature. Well animated fight scenes. Favourite moment awards go to the huge villain battle royale...Bonkers on drugs Luthor coming onto Amanda Waller...The adult and kid friendly combo of almost swearing or talking about power girls bust before someone interrupts...Toymans Superman / Batman combi rocket...and of course "SHAZAM!" (It's probably worth it all for that alone.).
