Review of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) by Danielle S — 29 Oct 2010
Cartoons aren't what they used to be and thus ratings have become worse instead of better. When I rent or purchase a cartoon I expect it to be free of profanity, partial nudity and BLOOD. This cartoon by Warner Brothers contained all three, which means I couldn't watch it with my little brother.
What's up with Warner Brothers? Little kids like Batman and Superman, too, but with the way they make cartoons nowadays, you'd think differently. That's why I am giving this absurd film 3 of 5 stars, which means a very LOW C.
Sure, I loved the action and plot, especially the introduction of Kara, but it is no fun if the entire family can't sit down and watch it. This should have been rated R, but MPAA lost their rating reputation a long time ago.
Shame on them and shame on WB, too.
