Comic book fans can experience the birth of Supergirl. Like other straight to DVD DC animations, there's lots of action, and some strong language (although not out of control) so if you are one of those types of parents who filter everything, this isn't like your typical weekday super hero cartoon.
The final fight in Smallville between Superman/Supergirl vs. Darkseid was a pretty intense knockdown/dragout type of battle. If you like comics or superheroes as we do, I recommend this one.
