Review of Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (2010) by Dillon N — 07 Nov 2010
Excellent. I've always liked Batman: The Animated series as well as Superman adventures. Glad to see them voicing the roles. On a side note I am glad they made it for mature audiences. Although it's interesting how they feel apologetic about killing certain villains or monsters and then won't execute the baddie. But alas I guess it's better not to sink to their level....
I am glad Kevin Conroy keeps playing the voice of Batman. He is the best and always will be. Summer Glau did good as Kara (Super Girl). She is really pretty. I just had to say that. I wanted more batman. It was kinda funny to see him get kicked and punched around and then just watch as superman comes and tosses a blimp into the harbor.Even though he is the world's most physically fit man, I am suprised he can go toe to toe with Darkseid. What I like is that he would blow up Apocalypse with 500 helo Globes if he could. The Cartoons are nice but I enjoy the comics much more since they are more mature and darker. Here's hoping they go dark, it's not for kids anymore!
