Once upon a time, the spoof genre of film was king. David Zucker's Airplane! and The Naked Gun were genuinely hilarious pieces of work which will never fail to brighten up a dreary day. However, the spoof genre has become lost in a mess of bad puns, innuendo, dated pop-culture references and tiolet humour.
Date Movie, Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Sports Movie, the graveyard of the genre just keeps on getting filled. You can cram Superhero Movie into there too. With David Zucker's name attached (as producer),you would expect a certain level of quality but either Mr Zucker wasn't very hands-on or he has completely lost his comedic touch.
It's a lame retread of Spiderman, 6 years too late. It follows the plot completely, except the lead character is bitten by a radioactive dragonfly as opposed to a spider and thus gaining superpowers equivilant to a dragonfly.
There isn't much you need to know about this film other than the fact that it's not funny, it's not clever and it's not worth your time.
