Review of Supergirl (1984) by Jeffrey S — 16 Jul 2007
Supergirl was made to cash in on the Superman film series. Helen Slater actually does a good job in the role of Linda Lee/Supergirl. The film itself is weak, and no amount of acting can save the film from itself. Faye Dunaway is a terrible villain in the film and Peter O'Toole adds little or nothing to the story. Supergirl is actually slightly better then 'Superman IV: The Quest For Peace.'.
Recommended for die hard Superman/Supergirl fans only.
