Review of Supergirl (1984) by Bill T — 13 Mar 2009
One of the biggest "what the hell was THAT?" to the point of being immensely entertaining. Supergirl featured Helen Slater in a new definitionof "vapidness" and trying to upstage such people as Brenda Vaccarp, Faye Dunaway.
Mia Farrow AND Peter O'Toole! The story is moronic, the special effects somewhat stupid (Slater can't even fly correctly). This one gets high points just for doing everything wrong.
