Review of Supergirl (1984) by John M — 26 Jul 2010

I can't help but think there was a good movie in here somewhere. Helen Slater was perfect in the part, and it's no doubt the image of her in that costume that's kept this film in the conscious in the past 20 years.

But with a terrible story, hamfisted acting by the villains, and painfully bad plot holes, this movie ranks as a total flop. Not the worst comic book movie ever made by any means, but not a good one.
