Review of Supergirl (1984) by Scott A — 15 Aug 2013

This is a terrible film in all sorts of ways. A lot of it just does not make sense from the beginning till the end. The plot is crap, the effects are normal for those times I suppose but what would have helped this film badly is a cameo from Superman/Christopher Reeves. The scene where Kara sees a poster of superman and she looks excited, was probably the best scene in the whole film. I can see how much better this could have been had he been in it and the plot changed to match both characters.

I am sure this will probably be the only supergirl film to ever come out, can not see her character being a big blockbuster seller unless she makes a cameo in the new superman films.
