Review of Supergirl (1984) by Jan Kristian L — 09 Nov 2008

This movie is geared for young kids, and it shows in the plot. The movie tries desperately to capitalize on Superman's success, but where it fails is that the heroine is such a weak lead. Even her villain is just a woman who dabbles in black magic and lives inside a carnival ride! I mean, come on!

Despite all this, I still enjoy the movie for the sake of the cheese it is, but unless you have fond existing memories of it to begin with, it will probably be a waste of time.
