I would not listen to the critics. This move can stand on its own merit, if you are into this kind of movie. The performances are on point and cinematically done very well. As a film guy myself, I am very critical of story, acting and production.
I do believe most would be satisfied by what this movie delivers. Support the move I'm sure these cirtics gave Shape of Water a good review. Really!!!
