Review of Superbeast (1972) by Allan C — 25 Feb 2017
Written and directed by George Schenck, you'd never guess from this cheap hybrid of "The Island of Dr. Moreau" and "The Most Dangerous Game" that Schenck would later go on to be a series producer and writer on the hugely successful "NCIS.
" The story here follows a lost pathologist who discovers a doctor in the jungles of the Philippines creating a race of man-beasts for others to hunt down for sport. This is one that can only be endured for so-bad-it's-good entertainment value.
