Review of Superbad (2007) by Faisal A — 25 May 2013

I realize that comedy is subjective. I used to love the Marx Brothers as a kid, but when I got older I just found myself enjoying Groucho and ignoring the others. Plus, the anarchic comedy would be divisive for me, sometimes I'd enjoy it, sometimes I wouldn't.

Maybe I found the humour to be broad, maybe just not very well written...with "Superbad", I only found the scenes with Fogell to be mildly funny, but everything else is just crass, filthy humour with no substance for me, and no laughs.

I found it boring, but one day, I will rewatch it just in case...
