Just like most movies lately, it's smarter to go against the critics because they have been wrong a lot lately. If you love the original, which I do and can sadly quote it all, you will not be disappointed.
It has classic ST feel but an all new tale and joke. I was honestly a little scared just because the original is so near and dear to many of us but it was amazing. The perfect sequel to a cult classic.
