ST2 is an ok film. And honestly it didn't feel like sequelitis but more or less felt unfinished. There are some call backs to running jokes from the first film which was fine imo. Who doesn't have a group of friends that have inisde jokes that you continuously reference to. The premise was good and the conflicts felt natural in cohesion with it.

The most jarring part of ST2 was the ending. Seemed like they just ran out of money all of a sudden and was like "All right, that's it." All in all it would make a reliable rental to lick back and goggle your way through.
