Review of Super Size Me (2004) by Michael H — 11 Nov 2012
One Of The Most Terrifying and Disturbing Documentries To ever come out of cinema. Super Size Me shows the effects of eating Mcdonalds for a whole month. Who would want to do that? I like Mcdonalds but there is no way I would eat the same food for a month. Morgan Spurlock who would later go on to make Where in the world Is Osama Bin Laden stars as a veggitarian who takes the challenge. He goes to see three doctors. On his journey he will take blood tests and will go eat Mcdonalds for a month. This causes him to have major body problems making his liver fat and heart greasey and also he has a hard time getting erections. The effects shown are shocking and work perfectly. Spurlock does something no one would ever do. This is possibly the first movie I took down notes for because of the effects Spurlock is getting. This documentry is something else.
86/100 B+.
