Review of Super Size Me (2004) by John T C — 14 Aug 2010

I never watched this film for fear it would nothing more than a propaganda piece making wild claims and using any means necessary to back them. But I'm glad I did finally watch.

It's an honest look of american attitudes and the drive for the almighty buck without hitting you over the head or being preachy. Being fat and having health problems is something most of us can relate to. Seeing Mr. Spurlock eat all that food was frightening. It was like watching my childhood only I didn't have idea one what I was doing to myself at the time.

In short, the movie hit home for me. I have heartburn just thinking about all the crap he ate.............. I'm going for a walk.
