Review of Super Size Me (2004) by Corey S — 22 Apr 2011
Now here is a movie that shows no fears and goes to the extreme. The movie follows Morgan Spurlock, who wants to show the effects that fast food has on people and wants to make a bold statement. During his experiment Morgan must eat MacDonalds three times a day for a whole month, and if they ask if he wants to super size he has to say yes.
What makes this movie so good is that Morgan is not afraid of the risks that could happen to him (he almost dies by the way) and that only makes the movie more entertaining. This movie also leaves its viewers with a powerful message and a understanding to how corrupt our fast food industaries are and this movie is also a reason why we do not have super size any more which is for the good of all of us.
Honestly I don't have a whole lot of bad things to say about this movie other than it can be a little gross at times but if you can handle that than I say check it out, it is very powerful and leaves you with a new look on the world.
