Super Size Me is a very interesting and mind-provoking documentary. This documentary was made by Morgan Spurlock, a healthy middle-aged man, who was trying to prove that the main cause of obesity in America is fast food. Besides, he also discussed the relationship between advertisements and people's reaction to it.

In order to prove his belief, Morgan decided that he would eat at Mc Donalds three times a day for a month. He would supersize his orders when asked and tried everything on the menu for at least once. At first, he didn't feel anything bad, but after a week, he started to feel tired, irritable and depressed. He decided to have a medical check and the result was shocking. His blood pressure and cholesterol goes up and he gains twenty-five pounds in a month, which means he gains one pound per day. Morgan stated that the reason for this is because consuming Mc Donalds for three times a day means consuming more than 5000 kcal per day, and this is more likely the reason why eating fast food make people obese. Fourteen months after he ended his experiments, he was able to lose his weight, however, his doctor stated that his liver has been damaged because of Morgan's unhealthy diet. Based on his experiment, Morgan summarize that eating fast food is unhealthy and various health problem may arise because of this.

Throughout the documentary, Morgan also explained the relationship between advertisement and people's reaction to it. Morgan discussed how Mc Donalds attract people to eat fast food and make them refuse to cook a healthy meals at home. They made a very catchy song like 'Rock and Roll Mc Donalds' which is like an alarm to remind people of Mc Donalds and its foods. Basing his idea on a study, it was proved that there are thousands of fast food advertisements on television every year, no wonder both adults and children are very motivated to eat fast foods. In fact, it always seems fun and essential to go to a fast food restaurants.

Overall, Super Size me is a very informative and interesting documentary. All the informations are packed in a very understandable way to make people aware of the effect of eating too much fast foods. It is highly recommended for people who wants to know more about the danger of eating too much fast foods and how to avoid eating it.
