Worse then hearing "Your princess is in another castle" every day for the rest of your life. As a ten year old obsessed with Nintendo, I was excited for this movie, but it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of my childhood (beating Santa Claus by a mile).
This was the studios trying to make a quick buck without trying at all. This movie is so bad. It rips off movies it has no business ripping off, the big bad dragon in the game is replaced by a guy who looks like Donald Trump, and those goombas were an insult to children everywhere.
Nothing about this movie was any good. I still pretend it never actually happened just to make myself feel better. Oh, and Leguizamo? Really? How did they come up with that one?
