And I tought that critics should review movies as they are and not what they are supposed to be.

Super Mario Bros. is in my humble opinion, a really interesting interpretation of the games, we went to a nonsensical ''Wizard of Oz'' kind of world to something that came out of Blade Runner, and the whole ''dinossaurs'' thing? I tought it was a pretty neat concept, and it is explained really well in this movie, just like everything else. There is flaws, I know, but hell, even the best of movies had flaws like the ones we have here, right? and the characters are well developed, we know their personalities, we would know more if there was an extended cut of this film, which would be incredibly awesome, watch this with an open mind, just because it's not like the games, doesnt mean it's bad, hell, the Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings were nothing like the books, and no one flipped when they came out, right? how about this one? this also deserves some love.
