It's hard to imagine bringing the Mario Bros. to the big screen. What I imagined it might look like is actually exactly what this movie looks like --- which, uh, isn't exactly favorable. A little bit of a stretch.
We're talking about one of the greatest video game franchises EVER, but one much too inventive to be made into a whole feature film. I have to admit, the only real reason I watched it through to the end was to see all the scenes with Yoshi.
God, I love that little dinosaur.
