Review of Super Mario Bros. (1993) by Zac H — 03 Dec 2009

I re-watched this on Thanksgiving break because I wanted to go back to my childhood to see how this movie was, and I must say besides Bob Hoskins looking like Mario and John Leguizamo looking KINDA like Luigi (with out the mustache) the script was really lame.

I know it would be kinda hard to make a movie out of this, but if they re-made this today I bet the CGI would be way better, but something about changing the name of peach to daisy and yoshi looking like something from Jurassic Park doesn't do it for me.

Even Koopa looking more human than anything was lame. It's one of those movies that can be bought for a dollar, but that's all it's worth. It's hard to say this because I love the Mario games, but that's why they're made to be video games, not a movie.
