Mario is a 50 year old British guy pretending to be Italian, Luigi is a 25 year old Mexican, the Mushroom Kingdom is Harlem, King Koopa is a person, and Toad is a stoner. Seriously, which Super Mario Brothers game did these people play?
This movie inspired me to produce a Sonic the Hedgehog film starring Guy Pierce as a Mexican street vendor who battles Dr. Robotnik (played by Roger Moore) in a high stakes game of Calvin Ball for control of all 38 Scrolls of Apathy.
