Review of Super Mario Bros. (1993) by Zero I — 06 Jan 2014

*Sigh*.

Seriously..... what did you expect? The games have barely any story, plus it's the 1st movie adaptation of a video game.

I think they did a great job, the story is solid, the jokes are fun, it has a high level of creativity and the characters are great.

And before I forget: Bowser IS the main villain, ever played any Mario classic? He was just named Koopa back then! not to mention, they started working on it in 1990 (so there's definitely no Wario) Super Mario Land was the latest game at the time, so naturally, they used Daisy as the main female character, and it's nice to see the addition of Yoshi.

Forget it's name, because it wouldn't be hated this much, if it wouldn't have been called Super Mario Bros., maybe you'll finally start liking it.
