Review of Super 8 (2011) by Nameless — 11 Jun 2011

If you haven't seen Goonies, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, or any CG monster movie you will like this movie. If you have seen any of those you will know it is a 2nd rate retread of those movies; down it the characters, the editing, the lighting.

What is so surprizing is that there is so little original in this movie. It was almost as if they needed another product to get out the door until the real movie they want to do is ready for production.

There were times I seriously considered getting up and walking out because it became just too slow, draggy, and predictable.
