Review of Super 8 (2011) by Peter N — 21 Jul 2013
An over hyped movie that lead to great disappointment for me. I expected a lot from this movie and got little from it. The effects were bad, the story was boring, the characters are truly forgettable, and a very bad ending is what kills this film.
It had a lot of potential, but the creature design they used was awful and was nothing like I had hoped. Overall, it was a big disappointment and was not J.J. Abrams best work by any means.
