Review of Super 8 (2011) by Tuukka P — 15 Jan 2015
JJ Abrams' Spielberg tribute (produced by the subject of the tribute) is a story about kids making a home movie and weird things which start in a little town after a train wreck. All the Spielbergian trademarks are there - the absent father, kids and a hidden threat not seen until the end - and even the music is very much like John Wiliiams' famous scores.
A big hand to Abrams for making humans (kids) the very centre of this monster movie.
