Review of Super 8 (2011) by Nicholas G — 13 Dec 2015
Knowing almost nothing about this movie, I thought this would be a kids movie. I was very wrong this is a very gritty movie. It feels like an adventure/science fiction/thriller for adults. J.J Abrams what's up with all the lens flares in this movie.
I loved every bit of this movie expect the last fifteen minutes which were too rushed and felt like a cop out. This is a very unique movie where it has elements of drama/comedy/horror/thriller/adventure and science-fiction but it successfully balances all the genres.
