WHY did this have to center around children? Irrational, annoying children? Ones that insist on cussing at a cringe-worthy rapid pace, acting like adults, and somehow having ridiculous magical connections to aliens just because? I probably would have liked this movie had it not been for the child actors and the fact the alien plot of it only actually had to do with about 20% of the actual plot while everything else was nonsensical filler.
