With an exciting and fresh idea, a beautiful story, a wonderful script full of good dialogue written and directed brilliantly by J.J. Abrams, a great cast headed by Joel Courtney as Joe Lamb, Elle Fanning as Alice Dainard, Kyle Chandler as Jackson Lamb and Ron Eldard as Louis Dainard, exciting scenes and sequences, fantastic visual effects and a nice pace and flow, Super 8 is a perfect throwback to 1940's and 1950's B-movies while telling an original story that is both thrilling and fun to watch.
