From the simply fantastic animated musical opening credits sequence to the surprisingly mature and touching ending, Super easily sets itself apart from all of the other superhero films out there today.
Sure, the violence is surprisingly brutal, yeah the film can be really disturbing at times, but all that reinforces the simple truth that Super is not only one of the most unique and different superhero films out there, but that Super is indeed one of the best superhero films you're likely to see in a very long time.
