Review of Super (2010) by Liz B — 19 Apr 2013
Rainn Wilson is nuanced and sympathetic, in this movie which was much darker than I expected it to be. Ellen Page plays the same character she always does, in my opinion - just wearing a superhero suit this time.
This was a violent, disturbing, and sad story - in my opinion, kind of a fractured fairy tale. Worth a look but not for the faint of heart or people who expect it to be an action movie version of Juno, Whip It, or the US version of the Office.
