This low-key character study from writer-director John Sayles apparently slipped under everybody's radar in 2002, but it's well worth catching. A small Florida community must deal with the prospect of the ensuing developers who are bringing about permanent change to their way of life--for better or worse.
Film explores multiple characters in the town and how it affects them. Filmed partly in Fernandina Beach and Jacksonville, Florida.
