Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Duncan C — 27 Aug 2010
Cute, little film. It could have been stronger. And funnier. Yeah, I thought it would have been funnier. It reminded me of 'Little Miss Sunshine' whose marketing told us it was a "smash hit comedy".
.. but it wasn't. Alan Arkin even delivers a similar performance. Anyway, it's well-acted, notably Amy Adams and Emily Blunt as the two sisters with a strong script - a nice film of family dys-function, despite being a little stereotyped.
