Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Kori G — 16 Jan 2010

I pretty much loved this movie minus the weak basis for the plot and how the movie just sort of stopped. We never saw the relationship grow between Amy & Clifton; we don't know why Emily was going on a roadtrip; we don't know if Emily & Mary get together.

While that seems like a lot, it didn't really weigh too much until the very end. Amy Adams is a beautiful and inspiring actress who can pull off any role. There's so much comedy while so much true sadness.

There's such a rise and fall of emotions that I felt so engaged in this the entire time.
