Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Mitchell B — 25 Jan 2010
For me the joy of Sunshine Cleaning lies in the captivating Amy Adams. The plot barely goes anywhere and the character arcs are predictable from even before the film starts ... it's got Alan Arkin and Sunshine in the title .
.. you can figure out the rest. But Amy Adams is so achingly sweet that you can forgive the faults of the film and cheer for her in the hopes that everything works out for her in the end (of course it does).
