Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Tinus D — 27 Feb 2010
Amy Adams and Emily Blunt deliver good performaces. Alan Arkin plays the same role he did in Little Miss Sunshine (he must like scripts with sunshine in the tittle). The movie goes for the same indie quirkyness as a "little miss sunshine", but fails on on point.
It needs some comic relief to offset real dramatic moments. The characters also feel a little too desprerate.
