Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Nadine B — 17 Apr 2010
Sweet film which will sadly suffer from constant comparisons with Little Miss Sunshine. I actually preferred this story of two sisters going into the crime scene clean up industry. Alan Arkin is fantastic - as usual - and the two female leads are likeable and charming.
Dark themes run throughout to keep it from tipping over into chick-flick territory. Highly recommended.
