Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Peter R — 27 May 2010
While the same ingredients from Little Miss Sunshine are here; cute kid, unsatisfied grown-ups who can't catch a break, feel good moments, feel sad moments and ...Alan Arkin, this is completely original in it's own right.
The story is simple enough with the pace slow enough to focus on the complicated lives of the characters that fill the screen. As in Little Miss Sunshine though, it's Alan Arkin which transforms a good film into something a little more special.
