Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Lee B — 22 Jan 2011

I am putting this in the same basket as Little Miss Sunshine, not just because it has Sunshine in the name and Alan Arkin and a dramedy, but because it is a drama that could have been pretty good and uplifting but fails in the drama and most of the comedy but has a few big laughs.

I also have to say this, I really don?t know why people think Emily Blunt is gorgeous. She?s alright, but not stunning or a particularly good actress. Maybe I need to see her in other movies. As for Junebug, she?s a really good actress and is the only really good thing in this movie.
