Review of Sunshine Cleaning (2008) by Dominic S — 12 Mar 2011

Amy Adams does an amazing job playing the role of Rose, an unwed mother trying to get more money so she can pay for a better education for her son. With the help of her sister Nora, played by Emily Blunt, the two of them create a crime scene cleanup crew business called Sunshine Cleaning. They go to houses or apartments that were victims of crime, domestic violence, etc. and they clean up after what had happened. They must also be strong, in their lives, from the troubles and difficulties that come their way. Alan Arkin also does a great job playing the dad to Nora and Rose.

This movie was alright and a bit interesting. It had a somewhat well thought out story line.

Sunshine Cleaning, I give you a 60%.
