As a sci-fi it held its own with terrific scenes of the sun and its magnitude....as a thriller, well if your looking for a twist that is never explained and leaves a "what the..." in your mind then this is the thriller for you.
I prefer a bit more connection in my thrillers, you have to draw these lines yourself and make assumptions.
