Review of Sunshine (2007) by Kentc. — 13 Jan 2008
The first two-thirds or so of the movie were very good. The actors fit well with their characters (Cillian Murphy is very talented in any of his roles). The concept was great and the action was fast paced.
However, that all seemed pointless after we discover the so called "twist" at the final one-third or so of the movie. Whatever amount of enjoyment and interest that you had for the movie was nearly destroyed by that incomprehensible "twist".
It was stupid. It was physically impossible for it to ever happen in real life. Worst of all, it ruined the whole movie experience.
