Review of Sunshine (2007) by Steven C — 05 Apr 2012
Immediately after watching this film I didn't know what to think, but after letting it sink in I appreciated it a lot more. There were strong performances throughout from all the actors. I was surprised by Chris Evans' performance (very good), much different from his usual acting fare.
I like how it covered the moral issues of the mission and the value of human life. Overall, the film started off strong but weaker in the second half because the film decided to introduce new elements that needed more time to develop.
It could have ended up like "The Abyss" but instead became more like "Event Horizon.".
