The first two-thirds were fine, but the last chapter goes off the rails from the theme and tone into becoming a lesser version of Event Horizon with jiggly-blurry cam providing most of the tension. It is almost as if two different people wrote this, with two different goals.

Perhaps the division in scores is due to those of us that have seen Event Horizon so that little of this was a surprise, and those that have not.
