Just as razor sharp as it was almost 60 years ago. it amazes me that this film was even made by a big studio. all the performances were top notch. the writing is some of wilders absolute best. it cuts directly to the bone.
the criticism of hollywood and moreover, american culture and our fascination with celebrity is spot on.
