Review of Sunset Boulevard (1950) by Jason F — 13 Aug 2009

I don't really know what to say here. I mean, the movie is excellent. Excellent acting, excellent writing, excellent direction, excellent everything really. I could say that it's not 100% original as it has a similar plot to Rebecca (and other romance movies) but... it is original in the way it's told and because of certain elements (namely the social commentary on Hollywood "stars").

Besides saying "this movie is one of the best" there isn't much else to say. Now, if the movie were to have sucked ass, i'd bitch and complain about it, ranting on for paragraphs... but it doesn't. So, "amazing" is all I can say.
