Such a beautiful movie about the lost icons of Hollywood. The actors and actresses who before the advent of talkies were big stars and after them faded into oblivion. The actors who are famous one day and the next day they are lost. Like the dying rays of the sunset...
Gloria Sawnson gives not only an oscar winning performance but something beyond it. She will be remembered always for her portrayal of this extremely empathetic character that is Norma Desmond.
This has to be my most favorite movie ever!
